What is a TikTok and Instagram Reels preview?

TikTok and Instagram reels do not use full songs on their respective platforms, they use 30 seconds, 45 seconds and 1-minute snippets of songs. To make sure the platforms use the appropriate preview start time, you need to indicate a start time for the recording on Music Cloud.
 
If you do not provide with a custom start time, we will automatically set it as 00:00 to ensure the metadata is processed by DSPs.
